Dear Drayton Resident,
I’m writing on behalf of Norwich City Community Sports Foundation to invite the residents of the Parish of Drayton to an Open Day at The Nest, our new community sports hub on Holt Road. – more information can be found here: https://www.communitysportsfoundation.org.uk/news/open-day-nest
We’re really keen to share what we’ve achieved so far and to hear the views of local residents on what they’d like to see happen next. With this in mind, I am also inviting parishioners to tell us what they think about The Nest using this survey:
I hope that we may see you at the Open Day on the 24th. Please do get in touch if you’d like any further information – I look forward to hearing your views.
Many thanks and best wishes,

Drayton’s Best Kept Garden Competition
Drayton Parish Council are on the look out for Drayton’s best kept garden. Working in conjunction with Taverham Nursery Centre, the Parish Council would love to hear from you if you have or know of a beautiful garden in Drayton. The garden can be either at the front or the back, a courtyard or even an arrangement of pots and window boxes – it really doesn’t matter as everything will be considered.
A judging panel of parish councillors, members of the Taverham Nursery Centre team and local horticulturists will short list and visit the best nominations to seek out their number one choice. Prizes will be awarded for the top three.
Drayton Parish Council Chairman Graham Everett said “We would love to receive as many nominations as possible. We know Drayton residents enjoy their gardens and take great pride in them. We look forward to seeing the best gardens Drayton has to offer.”
Nominations can be emailed to the Parish Council at [email protected] and don’t forget to include a few photographs if possible. Closing date for nominations 31st August 2018.
