Drayton High Rd – OVERNIGHT road closure from 3rd July 2017

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the A1067 Drayton High Road from the junction of Middletons Lane to the junction of A140 Boundary Road in the PARISH OF HELLESDON because of  providing a new right-turn lane and estate road access into Golf Club, with outbound lane widening of A1067 Drayton High Road. Provision of new outbound bus layby. Installation of new/diversions of existing utility apparatus. Provision of footway reconstruction to create new shared-use cycleway facility.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 3rd July 2017 to 8th December 2017 inbound only overnight from 19:00hrs to 06:00hrs for the duration of the works, expected to be about 159 days within the period.  A temporary speed limit of 30 mph.  Previously advertised revised dates.

Alternative route is via: A1067 (Drayton High Road, Fakenham Road, Norwich Road), B1535 (Weston Hall Road, Heath Road, Weston Green Road, Sandy Lane, Frans Green, Wood Lane), A47 , A1074 Dereham Road,A140 Sweet Briar Road. (Easton, Costessey, Hellesdon, Taverham, Drayton, Morton on the Hill, Attlebridge, East Tuddenham, Honingham, Hockering, Weston Longville, Great Witchingham).
